Marguerite K. Shepard, MD Marguerite K. Shepard, MD is a graduate of Smith College, Northampton, MA. She received her Medical degree from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine where she also completed a residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology. Dr. Shepard continued her association with Johns Hopkins after residency by completing two postgraduate fellowships, one in Obstetrics & Gynecology and an additional fellowship in Medical Genetics. Dr. Shepard is Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology by the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology. She is also a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians & Gynecologists. Dr. Shepard has a special interest in the management and treatment of menstrual abnormalities and various hormonal problems including abnormal hair growth. She also specializes in the management and treatment of menopausal symptoms.
Dr. Shepard is currently a Professor Emerita of Clinical Obstetrics and Gynecology at Indiana University and serves as Interim Division Director for Reproductive Endocrinology.
